New Orleans

*This is one of my favorites in New Orleans. A locals favorite & very reasonably priced. Raspberry croissans and spinach quiche are my staples. A romantic courtyard that is a lovely spot to sip strong coffee and munch on pastries. Lunch time has daily soup specials and hot croissant sandwiches, including one made with bechamel and Swiss cheese. For a sweet afternoon treat, try the raspberry tart or the strawberries Romanoff.

Irene's is in the French Quarter on Chartres St. I love this place. Very quaint. Great Ambiance. Several Little rooms. Piano Bar and Wine Bar in the back. I had duck that melted in my mouth and the spinach was divine too. Great Wine list. Great Desserts. Make a reservation or you may have a hard time getting in.
